A growing number of MACN members report “due diligence fatigue”: questionnaires are getting longer, inconsistent across platforms, and increasingly difficult to manage at scale—creating duplication for members and burden for third parties.

To respond, MACN convened three Working Group sessions with volunteer members and produced a draft MACN Core baseline questionnaire. The goal is pragmatic: standardise and reuse ~80% of commonly requested information, while keeping ~20% as risk-based, member-specific add-ons.

This 60-minute interactive workshop moves the conversation from whether standardisation is needed to how it can work in practice—without replacing existing tools. We will hear from two platform providers (Achilles and Marcura) on what it takes to operationalise Core data collection and responsible reuse, then align on scope (myths vs realities) and prioritise the key adoption barriers.

Objectives
  • An updated 2026 pulse check on duplication, effort drivers, and what “value” means for members
  • A clear understanding of what the MACN Core baseline will and will not do (and how 80/20 reuse is intended to work)
  • Practical implementation insights from platform providers on collection, reuse, and fit with existing tools
  • A prioritised list of adoption barriers, with initial mitigation ideas and owners
  • A pilot-interest signal (captured via poll) and clear next steps for follow-up

How to Prepare for this Session
  • Please review the MACN Core questionnaire from the pre-read
  • Please vote KEEP / DROP / REWORD for each question via the short survey link to survey
