  • Collect practical member input to prioritise where MACN can best support companies across the compliance journey.
  • Explore real operational needs and challenges in key areas: risk assessment, training strategy, due diligence, reporting, and policies & procedures.
  • Share peer experience (including a member case example on risk mapping) and surface what works in practice.
  • End with a clear, member-driven shortlist of priority support needs and suggested next steps for MACN.

How to Prepare for this Session
  • Review your organization's current compliance programme status (e.g., early / developing / more mature / mixed) and be ready to share examples.
  • Identify your top 1–2 areas where you need the most practical support (risk assessment, training, due diligence, reporting, policies & procedures).
  • Bring one concrete challenge or “pain point” you face when implementing or refreshing your compliance programme.
  • If possible, consult internally (compliance, operations, crewing, procurement, commercial) to capture a cross-functional view.

After the workshop
  • Share the workshop takeaways internally and validate the priority areas identified against your organisation’s needs.
  • If relevant, map existing tools and resources you use today (training materials, templates, reporting processes) and note what is missing or could be improved.
  • Send any additional practical examples, templates, or suggestions to MACN to support follow-up work (e.g., risk mapping approaches, training formats, reporting workflows).
  • Volunteer for follow-up working sessions or pilots if MACN launches targeted support in your priority area(s).
